Deep in Australian regulation, built for global frameworks

Most AI governance tools are written for the EU and the US. Cogna8 starts from Australian and Singapore expectations, where much of the work runs through existing financial, privacy and operational rules.

Australia

Existing laws, applied to AI

Australia is relying on existing, technology-neutral laws and guidance rather than a standalone AI Act. APRA prudential standards, FAR and privacy law carry most of the obligations.

Australia

Automated decisions and privacy

From December 2026, Privacy Act reforms require privacy policies to explain decisions made or substantially supported by automated systems using personal information. Cogna8 records which AI systems make or support those decisions.

Singapore

MAS and IMDA

MAS proposals on AI risk management and the IMDA framework for agentic AI shape expectations for financial institutions and agent deployments.

Global

Referenced standards

ISO 42001, the EU AI Act and the NIST AI RMF are referenced for multinational programmes, without claiming mapping depth we have not built.

Our regulatory reviews track these instruments and their dates.
